Leadership
The ministry is moving beyond conventional information management to strategic communication aimed at changing attitudes and modifying behaviors.
Dr. Law Mefor is the Commissioner for Information and Value Reformation in Anambra State. An academic, media consultant, public affairs analyst and author, he has served as Commissioner for Information and Value Reformation under Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo.
His leadership of the Ministry focuses on strengthening strategic government communication, improving information management, expanding digital communication and promoting accurate, timely and responsible public information.
Under his current tenure, the Ministry is also advancing its expanded value reformation mandate through initiatives aimed at promoting ethical conduct, positive social values, civic responsibility and responsible citizenship.
He has also championed stronger capacity building for Information Officers, continued public engagement through the Ask the Commissioner programme and the Solution Weekly Bulletin, and plans to digitise the Ministry's operations further.
